The challenge

Dispatch planning was done manually on spreadsheets each morning. Customers phoned for delivery status, and proof of delivery was a paper slip that frequently went missing, delaying payment collection.

What we built

We built a dispatch platform with automated route optimisation accounting for vehicle capacity, delivery windows and traffic patterns. Drivers use an Android app for trip sheets, digital proof of delivery with photograph and signature, and exception reporting.

Customers get a tracking link by SMS with a live map and accurate arrival estimates. The control tower dashboard flags delays and route deviations as they happen rather than after the fact.

The result

Distance travelled per delivery fell 18 percent through better routing. Proof-of-delivery disputes dropped by 94 percent. Customer status calls to the support desk reduced by roughly two thirds.
